Phuket – 26th June, 2019: The guest chef promotion of two-time world acrobatic pizza champion Pasqualino Barbasso is kicking off tonight at Cucina Italian Kitchen until this Saturday, 29 June. He will be showing off his gravity-defying tricks to diners at dinner, as well as tempting them with his 6 signature pizza menu that includes the mouthwatering Mediterranea (THB 399); Piemontese (THB 469); Romana (THB 459); Best (THB 599); Veggy (THB 519) and Walnut (THB 589). His show will be starting from 6.30 – 7 pm nightly.
June 28th and 29th: The Clash of Italians at Cucina Italian Kitchen. The special 5-course dinner menu is created by 4 native Italian chefs from Marriott hotels & resorts. Starting with Antipasto by Chef Andrea Genio, Chef de Cuisine of JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa; Continue to the Pasta dish created by Chef Michael Mulas, Executive Sous Chef of The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa Phuket. Then, the fish main course by Enzo Sorrentino, Chef de Cuisine of JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa; For the meat lover, you will enjoy the meat main course by Chef Paolo Romano, Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach, last but not least, save some room for delicious dessert created by our Executive Pastry Chef Dan Masoo. About the Chef: Two-Time Pizza Acrobatics World Champion, Chef Pasqualino Barbasso, is a man with a mission, to make high quality Italian pizza and to do it in the most entertaining way. This 43 year-old pizzaiolo is among the most skillful masters of acrobatic pizza-making and is one of the most famous. Chef Pasqualino began his career working in his family’s pizzeria Il Falco Azzurro, in Cammarata, in the Sicilian province of Agrigento when he was a teenager. He was crowned World Champion Pizza Acrobat in 2001 and 2002. In the last 16 years Pasqualino has travelled around the world offering his stunning performances to enhance the quality and the good taste of Italian pizza made according to true Italian traditions.
